The top 5 books I'm dying to see made into a movie
We've all read a book and the moment we've finished the last line, sighed and wished we could watch it play out on screen with our perfect cast already cemented firmly in our minds, right?
Some of my all time favourite films are those that have been adapted from a novel, and although I've used the line "the book was better than the movie" more than once, there's something insanely satisfying about getting to see if the picture you have in your head marries up with the one on the screen.
Here's my top 5 books that I would literally kill to see on the big screen.
1. One Day In December by Josie Silver
Hey, Richard Curtis if you're reading this then please, please, please make this into a movie!
2. The Hating Game by Sally Thorne
The Gods have listened because this one was optioned and is actually in production! Eep, I can't wait.
3. Infinity + One by Amy Harmon
I have a whole cast mapped out in my mind for this one, including Christopher Mason as Finn Clyde. Sigh.
4. The Opportunist by Tarryn Fisher
Olivia and Caleb need to be brought to life. Fact.
5. Chasing Clouds by Kathryn Andrews
Theres so much delicious detail in this book that surely it would be next to no effort to adapt it into a screen play.
